Father Christmas 2018

It’s the last weekend before December arrives and the shops are filled with Christmas decorations and trees ….. so, if you haven’t already organised to see Father Christmas now is definitely the time to get his visit booked.

Here we round up five great places across Maidstone that Santa will be visiting this year.

Kent Life

Head along to Kent Life and jump on board their land train, driven by the head elf and listen to his Christmas tales. Book to see Santa in his magical grotto and there’s a special gift for the kids as well as a delicious mince pie and a sampling cider for the grown-ups. There’s lots of other Christmassy activities too – including gingerbread decorating, posting that all important list to Santa in the post office and a visit to cuddle corner.

Leeds Castle

Leeds Castle always puts on a magical display at Christmas and this year is no different. Whilst unfortunately tickets for Father Christmas have already sold out (you need to get in early here!) you can visit the Maiden’s Tower for a special storytelling of 'Paddington and the Christmas Surprise' by Michael Bond (published by HarperCollins Children’s Books). Tickets are £5 per child with a maximum of two accompanying adults.

The Mall

Father Christmas is in his magical fairy wonderland in the Mall until December 24th. There’s also a post box to post your letter to Santa and if your little ones include an address, he will reply to each letter!

Tickets are £5 per child and once again the Grotto will be run for local charities in Maidstone. You can pre-book (though it needs to be 2 weeks in advance) otherwise please arrive early as Santa get very busy in the coming weeks!

Find out more here.

Notcutts

Visit Santa in his magical grotto at Notcutts and let Christmas magic begin!

As well as seeing Santa himself, your child will receive a Christmas gift, personally given by Santa. Again please note that Santa’s Grotto gets extremely busy with so many little girls and boys to see so bookings must be made online.

Kingswood Christmas Trees

Kingswood continues its tradition of opening its gates to a winter wonderland with Father Christmas in his grotto and live reindeer it’s a great place to visit to get into the festive spirit. Santa’s elves will also be on hand to help with the present giving. There’s also an outdoor train ride and bouncy castle along with lots of top quality Christmas trees and decorations to purchase

And of course Santa is paying lots of visits to all the Christmas Fairs that are happening in and around Maidstone too!
