Reflect Digital are challenging the norm with a four-day working week!

Reflect Digital are challenging the norm with a four-day working week!

The Maidstone based digital marketing agency, Reflect Digital, is leading the way for a better work life balance by announcing its plans to adopt an optional four-day week for its team.

With Maidstone’s proximity to London and its huge pull on digital talent many firms outside of the capital can find hiring and keeping the best digital marketers a challenge. Reflect Digital have decided to combat this head on and offer their employees the opportunity to change the way they work. The working week will still consist of the same 37.5 hours but will now be spread over four days with either a Monday or Friday off.

Becky Simms, CEO, Reflect Digital, commented,   Becky Simms CEO Reflect Digital

“We are keen to show that as a business we can innovate to offer our team a better balance in their life. Our work is highly pressurised, so anything we can do to help with that must be a good thing.”

“However, our clients will still, of course, come first. For example, if we need a client meeting on a day when a team member is scheduled to be off they will need to be flexible in their approach and either swap their day or return to a five-day week. Our team here at Reflect Digital is fantastic and I’m sure that this exciting step will lead to a more engaged team and better productivity.”

The move to a four day will be implemented at the start of October and has come after consideration of a number of different strategies including flexible working and the concept of “unlimited holidays”.
